Auberge de La Salvetat, built around a former presbytery, is a place of tranquility and beauty. The Auberge is a charming 3 star, 3 chimney Logis de France hotel with 14 pretty ensuite bedrooms, some air-conditioned, with a restaurant offering a classic fine dining experience but in a light, relaxing and welcoming way.

The romantic restaurant, recently awarded the coveted ‘3 cocottes’ from Logis de France and decorated with subtle colours has a huge open log fire in the cooler months and in summer guests dine on the pretty shaded planted terrace with panoramic views over the open countryside.

Ann and our chef devise seasonal menus using fresh, local produce wherever possible. All dishes are home-made in our kitchen and offer a mix of traditional and modern cuisine with vegetarian options.

Within 30 mintues of La Salvetat you will find 6 of the most beautiful villages in France, including Monpazier and Limeuil, the castles of Monbazillac, Biron and Lanquais, the pre-historic site of Les Eyzies, the stunning mediaeval town of Sarlat and the wine centre and old port of Bergerac. The area is famed for its fine food, markets and for the panoramic scenery of its rock cliffs, rivers and valleys.
